Ledgewood Construction played a key role in the Falmouth Memorial Library Expansion & Renovation, overseeing the construction process from start to finish. This Falmouth Memorial Library Expansion & Renovation included both a major addition and the redesign of existing spaces. We led multiple rounds of value engineering and cost-saving strategies to help the Library maximize its budget while maintaining quality. Through careful planning and collaboration, we identified over $1.4 million in potential savings, with the Library moving forward with $1.1 million. Our team also proposed a new structural system that resulted in an additional $400K in savings.

As a construction management partner, we navigated the project through unique challenges, including record-low unemployment at the start and a national pandemic during the final stages. Despite these obstacles, we successfully completed the renovation on time and under budget—a testament to our team’s adaptability and commitment.
