Cony Flatiron Apartments

As the Construction Manager for the revitalization and adaptive re-use of a treasured landmark in Augusta, Maine, the “Cony Flatiron” building was transformed into an energy efficient apartment building.

Under the watchful eye of the local Historic and National Parks Services, the renovations maintained and preserved much of the original design while at the same time creating a fantastic sense of community with high-end amenities.

The completed facility offers an exercise/yoga room, space for a visiting nurse to promote healthy lifestyle choices, and on-site library and lounge area to help build community. The project also includes renovations to the existing auditorium and stage which is made available to local schools.
