Ledgewood completed Yale Court, an affordable housing complex consisting of 31-units over nine buildings, totaling approximately 22,000-s.f. The town-house style apartments feature two- and three-bedroom units with rear sliding doors opening onto patios. One of the buildings, which is single story, contains two handicap-accessible units.
The site, which required significant blasting of ledge, offers common green areas. Residents also share a one-story community building in the complex, with common area, laundry, kitchenette, management office and mail boxes.
The buildings have pre-manufactured wood walls, wood roof trusses, asphalt shingles, vinyl siding, and PVC trim for minimal exterior maintenance. Ledgewood phased the project so that half were ready for occupancy while the rest were still under construction, producing the whole project on time and on budget.
