35 Main Street Expansion

Enhancing a retail building with a unique clock tower.

Details.

Camplin/Marino properties engaged Ledgewood to lead the design/build team for an
expansion to their 35 Main Street property in Freeport — most commonly known
as the GAP building. With a tenant agreement in place for American Eagle Outfitters,
Camplin/Marino was looking to add an additional 10,000 s.f. to their site while
maintaining the style of the existing structure and giving American Eagle their own
identity. Ledgewood partnered with Foreside Architects of Portland to develop a
design that maintains the look and feel of the building while adding a clock tower
focal point.
